Never danced before? Excited to start your dance journey?! You're in the right place! =) Salsa 101 is our first of 2 courses in our Social Salsa Beginner Series that will give you the basics of the dance and get you up and moving in only 4 weeks! No Partner Required. Don't worry if you think you can't dance, or you're afraid to try something new. We got you! Whether you have been trying to learn salsa for a while out at socials or you have never tried a step in your life. We specialize in teaching beginners and those who claim to have two left feet. We also run a dance social every Friday in conjunction with the Ballroom in Hamilton so our students can come out and practice and meet other dancers that are part of the school. Once students have completed Salsa 101, they can go proceed to Salsa 102; our next beginner course that focuses on Cuban breaks. Students can then either repeat the 100 series (Salsa 101 & 102) or can continue on to the Salsa 200 series. Syllabus - Basics: Forward, Side, Open Break Turns: Right Patterns: Pattern 1, 2 & 3
